Alex Wolfe wolfe.alex94@gmail.com Details of car Subaru Impreza WRX STI Type UK. 2.0 33,000 miles. Here I have my reluctant sale of my beloved Impreza, words can't describe how sad I will be without her but it's time for me to mature and find my own feet in this world. And trust me, she looks 100x better in person. The car was owned by the company "Car Audio Security" for the best part of ten years in early life as mainly their show car and occasional track goer. Some car enthusiasts may remember it better with the number plate "F5 JBL" from shows and a issue of Fast Car Magazine. Having the car owned by such a reputable company just indicated to me personally that this has been a well looked after motor, and from owning and having the pleasure of driving it as a weekend car I can vouch on what a unbelievable piece of kit this is. Pictures can be sent of everything described that I couldn't fit in the gumtree listing. I had a AA vehicle check carried out on the vehicle in January which cost me £190 which left me with an extensive report about the vehicle, that anyone who would like to view the car I'd be happy to take them through this so they can be pleasantly reassured about what a sturdy car this is, and to the buyer I'll give them their own copy for future reference. The car has 33,200 genuine miles on the clock, due to its easy life as a show car. She has a custom interior of two, one of a kind (I haven't seen a set like them) half bucket seats in black leather and black suede with a "Infinity" sponsor logo stitched into the headrest. Custom door cards front and rear which house a impressive collection of speakers (explained in the next paragraph) that are in black suede also with "infinity" logo in each of the front, they look really good in my opinion and also make the car incredibly unique. After being owned by Car Audio Security you can guess it's had some audio adjustments... It has a double din Kenwood touchscreen head unit, I'm unsure of what model it is but I'll do some research to try and find out. In EACH of the front doors there are x3 JBL speakers accompanied by 3 tweeters so 12 speakers in the front in total. In the rear doors there are x2 JBL speakers and x2 tweeters just for good measure. In the boot lid there's also x2 more JBL speakers. The boot has a boot conversion that could do with some tlc, I'm not fully clued up about sound systems but there appears to be an amp or two built in, I can send photos of this to anyone who is interested in the vehicle. In 2014 Car Audio Security fitted a £3200 air ride system to the vehicle, which I can say is mighty impressive either parked up anywhere, lowering it to the floor or negotiating awkward supermarket speed bumps raising the car to avoid such dangers. Some people may be put off from the air ride, but after test driving a stock Subaru suspension compared to this one with air ride this won hands down, and not for the novelty factor of being able to raise the car up and down, but the amazing comfort you get without no loss of the performance, I was so amazed by how well it stuck and how good it felt on the road. The car sits on 18" rota grids in gloss black with a royal blue speckle within the black paint which can be seen in the sunlight. Opted for slightly larger tyres for some more added comfort instead of these low profile nonsense which create awful noise and an achey backside on journeys. Also retains a more rally look in my opinion than tuner. All tyres have good tread. The engine is completely untouched other than a HKS induction kit A dump valve A light remap pushing it from 261BHP to around 300BHP. Baring in mind the factory specs of this vehicle with 261BHP the 0-60 time is 5.2 seconds... Fast. Bad bits: The clutch is wearing ever so slightly, slipping in 5th and 6th when really trying to put the power down, but is still fully drive able as it is, I will either knock £500 off the price for the new owner to fit his own or I will get it replaced prior to the sale depending on the price agreed. Some stone chips as expected on a 14 year old car. Slight dent in the near side rear arch, can only been seen in certain light because of how glossy the car is. May need a more powerful amp to power all the speakers as having the volume too loud sometimes causes it to switch off, guess due to the existing amp not being able to cope. Rear left seat buckle isn't attached as I've been meaning to get a bolt for it, but due to being a weekend car I've never had the need for more than one passenger in the car. Left rear door latch needs to be reattached within the door as cannot open from within the vehicle, no rear passengers so has never effected me. Couple of little dings that can only be seen in certain angles. Boot lid doesn't hold open so needs to be tinkered with, not having boot space to use has never urged me to get it fixed. Overall this car needs a little tlc to return it to the great show car it was not so long ago, sorry for the long description but I'd rather write something meaningful and in depth about the vehicle to show I'm passionate about her and haven't just used and abused her, as I hope the next owner will be the same.
